This is the best vineyard in the Chassagne-Montrachet "Village" appellation. Chardonnay has long reigned supreme here and covers 100% of the vineyard's five hectares.
This appellation can in many ways be considered an extension of the same terroir found at the Premiers Crus of Les Caillerets and Les Champs Gain, from which it is only separated by the road to Santenay (just below which its first vines grow).
Appellation: Chassagne-Montrachet "Les Masures" Village AOC
Area: 6112m²
Production: 400 cases
